Out of sorts

I drove to work by myself this morning. My husband usually drives, as we work in the same building (and for the same company, but on different floors). He had to stay home with the girls today because my Mom (our usual daycare) called early this morning. That is the first clue that something is terribly wrong.
Mom went on to say that she was taking my Dad to the doctor's office today, and hopefully NOT the Emergency Room. I don't know what's wrong - exactly - however, he has been complaining of feeling dizzy. This is a problem he's had before and the doctors he's seen don't seem to ever really be able to treat it.
So, for those of you that are praying people, please keep him in your prayers. I have a weird feeling about it all. Dad's getting up there in age (he'll be 78 next month) and he never really feels "well" or "good". I guess it's time to stop avoiding it - and starting thinking about what life might be like without him. I don't really want to go there, but we'll have to do something with my Mom. She won't be able to afford the house payment without his Social Security checks coming in.

Good news: I called and spoke with Mom and they think Dad either has symptoms from high blood pressure or an inner ear infection (there was fluid in his ears, but his BP was elevated). They have a prescription being processed at the local WalMart and hope he will be back on his feet soon.
